Lorlortx August 07, 2017 for Model Number KUIA15NRHS7 Hello, We bought a floor model of this icemaker a while back, and configured it into our kitchen remodel, not realizing it needed a drain pump until after it was installed. It has never been connected, and we would like to find a drain pump kit. Can you help me figure out the part that we need, or a compatible drain pump?
1 Answer Lorlortx, The part number for the drain pump that you would need on this unit would be 1901A. Read More...

Drayton December 15, 2016 for Model Number Kitchen Aid Do I plug the ice maker into the Submersible Pump, and the pump into the wall socket?

Harry B December 12, 2016 for Model Number 106.89583707 Picked up an ice maker, 106.89583707, at a Sears Scratch and Dent store. We do not have a floor drain so we needed an icemaker that would pump the water to a drain. The salesman thought it had a pump that removed water but he was not sure. We opened the back and on the lower right side there is a pump. Is it it same to assume that this is the pump that removes water? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Harry. Yes, if it is in the back and is black, that's the water pump to remove the water. Read More...
Eric November 19, 2016 for Model Number KUIX305ESSI We purchased this Kitchen Aide not knowing that we needed a drain. This ice maker is going in the center of the house under the bar area. I brought water in from the attic no problem. But we have 12' ceilings the 1901A pump says max height 10'. To tie into a drain vent pipe my vertical rise will be more like 13' to 14'. Now what do I do? We have already gotten to far into this with removing cabinets and such to go back now. Is there a bigger pump that we can use?
1 Answer Eric, Unfortunately we do not have information on a pump that would pump the water out at a larger height. Read More...

Bernie October 31, 2016 for Model Number KUIC15PLTS3 Makes Ice then the unit turns off. What could make the unit turn off and not come on? The unit makes ice when the drain pump is not hook-up and continues to run! Would this be the pump or control circuit problem? Thank You, Bernie
1 Answer Bernie, This issue would be with the internal workings of the drain pump and would need to replace the pump. Read More...
Edwin September 22, 2016 I have a kitchen aid ice machine that the pump has quit on. Looking around the internet it looks like there may be two version of the 1901a. I have seen one with the discourage outlet pointing down and one with a curved top and the discharge outlet on top pointing up. Is there a difference between these that would make one work and not the other one. My ice machine is a kitchen aid. I don't have the model number with me .
