Eric for Model Number KUIX305ESSI

We purchased this Kitchen Aide not knowing that we needed a drain. This ice maker is going in the center of the house under the bar area. I brought water in from the attic no problem. But we have 12' ceilings the 1901A pump says max height 10'. To tie into a drain vent pipe my vertical rise will be more like 13' to 14'. Now what do I do? We have already gotten to far into this with removing cabinets and such to go back now. Is there a bigger pump that we can use?

1 Answer

Eric, Unfortunately we do not have information on a pump that would pump the water out at a larger height.

Joe, To install this water tube you will need to pull the unit out from installation and shut the water supply off. Also take the lower cover in the front off the unit. This will give access to the front and back of the tube to be able to change it out.
