1 Answer Hello Daniel. Test and see if there is power coming to the drain pump. If so, and the pump does not run, replace the drain pump WP22003059. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. 1 Answer John, We don't know what the issue is, but If you have a 35 watt drain pump in your washer, It's an original part. That particular drain pump was re engineered, 8 to 10 years ago, and is now an 80 watt motor. 1 Answer Hello Dona. This part's function is to pump water out of the appliance during the washing cycle. It does have a seal in it though that can become damaged and cause this part to leak. I would suggest trying to determine where the leak comes from. If it originates on the side of this part, then that seal is damaged and the entire pump would have to be replaced.
