1 Answer Hello Shelvy, This sounds like you have debris in the sump area preventing the unit from draining properly. The pump could also be failing. Most commonly, if water isn't draining completely, the issue is a clog in the drain line o a failed drain pump. Does the door lock light come on that is on the control panel? If not, you need to open the control panel and look in the center of the board for the R-11 resistor. If it is burned, replace the door lock wax motor and the machine control board. If not, you need to get the wiring diagram and your test meter out and shoot the out-of-balance circuit. Also, as per a manufacturer rework, if there is an out-of-balance switch on the left rear strut, it needs to be removed and bypassed. Preecha K July 21, 2012 for Model Number mah4000aww The washer won't drain. I cleaned the drain host and pump. I tested the pump motor by connecting the two poles to a power source. It spins well. I put the pump back into the washer and started a wash cycle. At the draining time, I could feel the pump motor vibrating and spinning but there was no movement of water out of the drain host. I am sure the drainage is not clogged. I can manually drain the tub by lowering the drain host to floor level.

1 Answer Hello Roberto. Test for power going to the drain pump assembly WP22003059. If there is no power there, you will need to replace the control board 12001725. Robert December 12, 2011 for Model Number mhw2000aww I purchased this part and my machine is still not working properly. The machine is pumping the water out....the machine is not going thru the high speed spin, therfore the clothes are not coming out of the machine with water on them. The are soaked. 1 Answer Robert, are you sure the washer is spinning at all ? The place to start, with a complaint like yours are the off balnace switch circuit and the spin enable switch on the door latch assembly. If you have a broken wire or inoperable off balance switch, the tub will starty to spin , stop and rock back and forth, to redistribute the load. If the spin enable switch does not have a closed circuit, once the door has closed and locked, it will not spin at all. You can test the off balance and spin enable switch circuits up at the washer main control board, located in the front right corner of the dryer cabinet, or at the multiplugs located on the sides of the tub assembly located under the front top trim panel on the washer with a multimeter. Daniel October 18, 2011 for Model Number MAH3000AWW My drain pump has 2 separate blue electrical connectors on it; they are located on the edges of the black motor housing. One has 2 white wires & the other has a single black wire. The picture of the pump on your site shows 1 electrical connector in the middle of the black motor housing. How can I use your part? Also what is the pump isolator bracket AP4033617? It is listed as being part of # 5 in the exploded view but I don’t see it in my washer?
1 Answer Daniel, The pump isolation bracket is mounted to the base of the washer, then the pump, can mount to it. It is basically a "cushion" to disipate or eliminate the noise transfer from the pump to the base. If you have the original foam pad, it will work just as well. As for the wiring connections, They will fit, side by side in the new connector. The two white wires are attached together, inside the plastic connector cover and will not create a problem.
