Bert B February 18, 2012 for Model Number KUIS15NRTS0 Is there a simple means to check to see if the pump works? Is it a 12V AC or DC motor? If DC, can I hook it to a 12V car battery? If DC, does polarity matter, and which lead is positive on the pump?
1 Answer Bert, The recirrculation motor is a 12 VAC motor as well as the reservoir drain pump motor. Neither motor is polarity sensitive, and running them with a basic test cord should allow you to determine if the motor is operable or not. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
