Nicole January 19, 2012 for Model Number MAYTAG MGR5775QDB RANGE- S/C F/S GAS I have a MAYTAG MGR5775QDB RANGE- S/C F/S GAS Stove and the racks inside the cavity keep falling down while in the middle of baking. It looks like the oven wall are expanding with the heat of the oven so far that the racks do not have a ridge to rest on, and my food always drops and spills? Is this something that can be fixed?
1 Answer Hi Nichole. What you are expereiencing is called "canning-effect". As the cavity heats then the sides expand like you mentioned. It is extremely rare. What you need to do is call the manufacture and describ this to their customer service rep. They should be able to schedule you with a service appt. to help decide the next steps... If we can assist. any further pleaser let us know. Thank You. Read More...
