Steve August 07, 2017 for Model Number MET3800TW0 Do the Drum rollers come with the washer and retaining clip or do I need to purchase all parts seperatly? Also is there a kit compatible with my model?
1 Answer Steve, The drum support rollers WPW10314173 / 8536973 does not include the retainers or washers, but the existing parts once cleaned can be re used without an issue. Yes, there is a "maintenance kit " for the dryer model number you supplied 4392067 / WPW10314173 "Not All Parts Are Useable" you'll need to check and verify the drum belt is the proper length and matches the original belt. Kris Chandler March 11, 2017 for Model Number MEDB880BW0 We recently came back from 10 day vac. Started dryer it vibrated and is very noisy. Worked perfect when we left, unit is 2 yrs Old / any suggestions?
1 Answer Kris, The drum rollers and belt can "take a set" and develop flat or hard spots, but that will make a thumping noise, and will usually subside with a little time, but it shouldn't make the machine vibrate. But that would be the place to start drum rollers and belt. Did this occur on the first load or after a load or two ? Could it have been making the noise before you left just not as loud ? You may also want to check the duct, filter and blower and the housing for a restriction or debris in the housing and wheel. Read More...

Peter February 21, 2016 for Model Number MGDE201YW0 Thank you for the informative video. I was able to replace the support rollers and idler pulley on my dryer. However, after I put it all back together, the dryer does not stop upon opening the door, and the interior light does not light up. I hooked all of the cables back up and don't see any loose. Otherwise, the dryer runs and produces heat, and I can stop it by pushing the Start/Pause button or pressing the power button to turn it off. I need help figuring out what I missed.
1 Answer Peter, The most likely cause for the unit to not shut off and the light not to come on would be either the wires being reversed on the door switch or a faulty door switch. Read More...
