Also, it seems to me like the tennant in that apartment somehow damaged the original lint filter and a piece of the plastic frame is missing, sounds like when I run the dryer it's up inside the dryer. 1 Answer Hello D. The correct lint filter is WP33001003. You will need to remove the screws on the bottom of the front panel. Then remove the screws and raise the top of the dryer. Next remove the screws on the drum holding the baffles in place. Clean out the baffles. Hope this helps. Read More...

Ellie July 04, 2011 for Model Number LSE7806ACQ Tons of lint getting around the lint filter - all over the door, etc. Shouldn't the lint filter have a (felt?) liner around it to keep the lint from escaping around the screen? I looked at the picture of the replacement filter (AP4043000, right?) and it doesn't look like it has one. Maybe on the other side which is not shown?
1 Answer Hello Ellie! You will need to check the venting to the dryer to make sure it is not clogged and has good air flow. This could cause the lint to build up.
