Dave, There are no instructions, but it's a pretty simple process. The rubber "O" ring WP210690 sits in a recess at the bottom of the brass colored bearing/bushing on the top of the transmission 6-2097750 use a small flat blade screwdriver and insert the blade in between the "O" ring and brass bushing and carefully pry out the "O" ring and roll it out and off the recess. Apply a coat of grease or Vaseline on the new or old "O" ring and slide it down over the brass bearing and back into the recess between the bearing and the pot metal case, remove any excess grease, and finish the repair.

Bill, If you look closely at the top brass bushing of the transmission case, you'll see that theres a "groove" milled into the metal case and the bottom of the brass bushing, that is where the rubber seal is installed.

Hello Ken. Yes, you will need to order and replace the tub bearing seal [AP4372971 and the mounting seal kit 6-2095720 and the spanner wrench TB123B to complete the repair of the unit. Hope this helps.
