Rich March 25, 2013 for Model Number LG3412W How do you remove the cylinder roller. Does the shaft just unscrew, mine is extremely tight and will not turn. Do you remove the retainer and the roller then slide off of the shaft.

1 Answer Hello Joe, The shaft is impregnated with a lubricant so as it wears it actually lubricates itself. If you put a wet lubricant, lint will stick to it and cause it to fail prematurely. If you absolutely have to put something on it, you have to use a dry lubricant that won't stain the clothes such as corn starch or baby powder. Read More...
