Mark July 24, 2018 for Model Number WED75HEFW & WFW75HEFW My whirlpool WED75HEFW & WFW75HEFW washer/dryer were stacked, but the washer sticks out about 2 or 3 inches. Is this the way it should be, or should the face of the washer and dryer be more flush? I thought they would be flush. The laundry room closet door now hits the face of the washing machine.
1 Answer Mark, When stacking these units, if installed properly they should be a little more flush. A 1 to 2 inch space is more normal on this. Read More...

1 Answer Whosmrf, Normally, you would install the "dryer" stack kit 8541503 / 8541503. But with the engineering changes in the New"Duet" washers we would recommend you install the W10869845 / W10869845. It's a bit more"universal" and will help reduce some of the vibration and possible interference with the controls in the washer. Thanks, Read More...
