Robert July 17, 2012 for Model Number C221 My question is similar to Eric's. My old switch has 6 terminals; 2 of the wires connect to a double terminal on the opposite side of the 3 terminals. The serial number is 30300740. How do I connect to the single terminal that used to be a double terminal? Thanks.
1 Answer Robert, What is the manufacturer part number on the switch ? We can't find or recal ma six terminal infinite switch for your C221 cooktop. Both switch assembly(s) for your unit are equipped with five terminals : L1, L2, H1, H2, and P. Someone may have installed a substitute switch in the past. In most cases, the L1 and L2 wires to the switches are "staked" together and "daisy chained" from switch to switch. You may want to attach the two wires together, install a new terminal and attach the wire on the switch terminal. Read More...
Thomas September 30, 2011 for Model Number C201 Followup immediately preceding question: Since I can't buy one double flat stem knob from you, only sold in package of 4, can I just buy 4 AP4087111 D stem switches all the same? Would 4 all the same work just as well? This is Run 03 C201 Jenn Aire. Aren't they supposed to be all the same in the same run? Might one be different on mine because one might have been replaced, or would you say one is supposed to be different for an important electrical reason, or is it just the stem shape for the knobs. If I have to buy 3 of one and one of another for an electrical reason, then would you say I can use a D stem knob on the one double flat stem switch by adding a shim around it or do I have to buy a bag of 4 flat stem knobs and throw 3 of the knobs away?
1 Answer Hello Thomas. Yes, you can buy 4 of the flat switches and use the set of 4 knobs. Hope this helps. Read More...
Thomas September 30, 2011 for Model Number JennAire modular C201 electric cooktop 220volt RUN 03 Run 03 serial# 32278694. Switches (controls) stems overall D shape but have split down the center ie: split D. 5 contacts for wires. 3 Switches say INF240P871 201241 except rear right (small burner 6" burner) (which may be different because of replacement or its just different) but it says INF240PX-803, also 5 contacts for wires, but it has square stem, not D (possibly what you call double flat). Wish to replace all 4 switches. Do I order 4 the same or 3 of one and one of another? Which switches should I order. My model tag says Run 03. I appreciate your help.

Xnyer July 21, 2011 for Model Number Jenn Air C301 Regarding the different switches cited in the question posed by Phillip (above), I don't see a "run number" on my stove. This could influence which switches I need to replace those for the small burner on the left front and the large burner that is at the right rear.
1 Answer Hello Xnyer. Remove the knob from the switch. If it has a "D" shaft, you will order 700855K. If it has the double flat shaft, you will need to order W11120795. You do not need the run number for your model number. Hope this helps. Read More...
