1 Answer Syed, with the power cord unplugged or the breaker turned off, the switches would be tested for continuity. The right front switch WPW10222828 would be tested from L1 to H1, then from L2 to H2 while the switch is in the on position. I need this Info to check if I need to also Purchase Wiring Harness in case it is burnt. 1 Answer Charlie, with the power cord unplugged from the outlet, a mat or a cardboard the same size of the cooktop may be necessary as the cooktop would need to be lifted up out of the counter. This would be done by pushing up from the bottom of the cooktop, being careful not to place too much pressure on the glass. With the cooktop removed, the knobs and retainer nuts would need to be removed, as well as the vent grill. Then the screws inside of the top of the vent, as well as along the top perimeter of the cooktop just under the glass, will need to be removed.
