Jim August 24, 2013 for Model Number LSR6334LQ1 Yesterday you recommended a Lid Switch for my problem which was the machine does not pump out or spin out, but does wash. How do you check to see if the Lid Switch is defective and not working? Our Model # is LSR6334LQ1 Thanks, Jim
1 Answer Hello Jim. With the lid closed, it should read closed and when open it should read open for continuity. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Linda B August 02, 2013 My whirlpool washer lid switch screws loosened and came away from the machine. Do I need to replace the whole switch kit or can is there a mount to reattach it. I can manually push the switch and the washer will spin. But because it isn't attached to the frame of washer, closing the lid won't make it connect to spin out.
1 Answer Linda, If you have tried to tighten the screws but they will not tighten then you will need to get a lid switch kit for your unit. Read More...
