Rich March 09, 2019 for Model Number Kdte104dsso I bought this Kitchen Aid dishwasher and it wasn't filling with water so I replaced the water valve. Now it seems to only fill half of what it should .I noticed that it showed that it was washing but it was doing nothing and had emptied all water . Unfortunately there was no tech sheet .I wandered if it might be a faulty turbidity sensor or a bad control board. Can you help. PS, there seems to be no indication of any fault codes happening.

That repair did cure a symptom (the machine now works), but revealed a larger problem... When I removed the wiring harness from the control board, I found that the harness had melted and that this overheating is what cause the damage to the first control board in the first place. So, my question is: Should I replace the wiring harness and hope that the problem was just caused by the original contacts wearing out over the 7+ years the machine was working just fine or would this be just throwing good money after bad?

Scott M. March 19, 2015 for Model Number KUDT03FTSS0 The technician indicates that new control board is needed as unit will fill but then wash will not start. I would like to do the replacement myself, but I want to make sure I get the correct replacement control board for my dishwasher. The original paperwork has a large "for service technician's use" foldout that details all the electronics involved and although it does not indicate that it is for the control board, a part number of W10082651 is indicated. Can you help me with the correct part number for the control board?

Be sure to put that service tech sheet back on the appliance so it will be there if needed again in the future. Putting it up so it won't get lost never works. The repair is simple. Just turn off the power to the unit and verify the power is off before beginning. Removing the screws around the perimeter of the inner door liner will provide access.
