This mechanical 3-cycle dishwasher timer governs the order and duration of the wash, rinse, drain, and dry stages. Replacing a worn or seized timer restores proper cycle advancement when the dishwasher stalls, won't start a cycle, or runs indefinitely. What it does:

  • Controls cycle timing by routing power to the motor, heater, valve, and drain components at set intervals
  • Coordinates wash, rinse, drain, and dry stages on 3-cycle models
  • Typical symptoms include: cycle won't advance or stops mid-cycle; only advances when manually turned; runs too long/too short; won't start a cycle
What's included:
  • 1 timer assembly
Install notes:
  • Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing
  • Remove inner door screws to access the control area and timer
  • Transfer wires from the old timer to the new one, one at a time, matching positions
  • Mount the timer securely, reassemble the door, and run a test cycle
