1 Answer Hi John. The only thing that move's all cycle selections is the timer motor itself. Part # is WP8299779. Thank you. Read More...
Dustan September 05, 2011 for Model Number Kenmore Mod 110.66662500 The dryer did not stop at the end of the cycle while we went to the mall and ran for several hours in the Timed Dry mode, the load was dry. The dryer will now run when started but it does not get hot, I have tried both the Timed Dry and the Auto Dry modes. I assume the timer is bad since it did not stop but I would not expect the heater to be burned out also, I would have expected it to be in the cool down part of the cycle. The heater measures "open" when I read it with my Multimeter. Any thoughts? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Dustan. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the heating element 279838 is bad and will need to be replaced. If the unit does not heat, the timer will not advance. If you repair the heating issue, the timer should work properly. Hope this helps. Read More...
