Amber M. December 27, 2014 for Model Number LE7800SXN1 I am trying to find the heating element for this dryer. I am having a really hard time finding the correct one. Any way I can get a part number for the part I am looking for? I'd rather not take the dryer apart until I have the new element.
1 Answer Amber, I believe your model should read LE7800XSN1. The replacement element is part number WP4391960. Thanks. Read More...
Larry M. August 06, 2012 for Model Number part number AP2911172 (timer) Dryer Model #Le7800XSN1 does this model use the same timer as Le7800XSN2 the system addresses; no info on the XSN1 only XSN2, they look the same? Is there a way to test the timer? The failure starts when the dryer prematurely shutting off and the alarm sound is going off. Then you had to move the timer knob around the get it to start. Now it will not start at all!
1 Answer Hello Larry! Yes, both models (LE7800XSN1 and LE7800XSN2) use the same timer part number WP3389865. Locate the 2 small black wires going to the timer motor, check these with the washer running for 120 volts. If there is power there and the timer is not working properly it will need to be replaced. Hope this helps, thanks! Read More...
