Stephanie December 18, 2018 for Model Number LSQ80000HQO Whirlpool washing machine model#LSQ8000HQO Works fine till first rinse then stops running and tank is half full of water on all cycles? Why is this happening?
1 Answer Stephanie, your water level is determined by the pressure switch. The pressure switch when satisfied there is enough water in the tub, will stop the water fill and advance the timer into a wash cycle. Check the clear plastic tube that runs from the switch to the air dome on the side of the tub. Blow through it toward the tub end to make sure nothing is restricting the water from going up into the tube. You may try replacing the switch, part number is W10820051 Read More...
Denice May 04, 2016 for Model Number LSQ8520JAQ0 We just replaced our timer for the second time, thinking that was the problem. The tub fills and agitates but then stops after agitation. It doesn't go to the next cycle. Do you know where the disconnect might be? We have a Whirlpool washer. Thank you for your help.
1 Answer Hello Denice. You will need to check and see if the lid switch is bad on the unit and will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Pamela January 04, 2015 for Model Number LSQ8000LQ1 We have a Whirlpool washing machine (LSQ8000LQ1 ) that we have replaced the timer switch on already, but, NOW, the machine fills to the LOWEST water level and DuMpS the rest, there's no water on the floor but it WON'T fill the rezt of the way , WHY ?
1 Answer Pamela, This issue sounds like it may be siphoning the water back out. You will want to check the drain to make sure that it is not pushed too far down into the standpipe. If it is then this would cause the issue that you are having. If this checks ok then the issue would most likely be caused by the pressure switch but if the water continues to run and try to fill then check for siphoning issue. Read More...
Steve December 10, 2014 for Model Number LSQ8000hq3 Hi, my timer is defective and has the number 3953553 on it, but it's followed by the Letter B. Your timer doesn't have this suffix behind the part number, will it still work? What does the B mean? Thanks.
1 Answer Steve, based on your model number given the timer listed as part number WP3953553 is the correct replacement and will work on your appliance. Unfortunately, we do not have any information to verify what "B" stands for. Sorry. Read More...
