This quality part is a user control and display board for dryers. This is a component that is located inside the dryer. The user control and display board offers a way to control the dryer cycle times and manage all the components of the dryer. It can also be used to choose the ideal temperature for the appliance during a cycle. If this component is no longer working correctly, the dryer may not turn on, could be cooler than expected, or may not turn off.If this part is damaged, it needs to be replaced. Before starting the process, make sure there is no power to the dryer. Move the dryer away from the wall to have access to the back. The cover should be removed by using a screwdriver on the screws that hold the cover to the frame. Slide the cover forward to lift it up. Next, the screws on the control board bracket can be removed. Tip the assembly into the dryer and press in the clips to take off the cables. Replace with the new part.The user control and display board is an authentic OEM replacement part that is sold as a single component. It is made to be a replacement part for Estate, Roper, KitchenAid, and Whirlpool dryers.

Thomas, If after changing out the User interface the F2 error code continues to show up then you will want to check your wiring connections and if they are ok then replace the main control board.

Hi Gehardt. Remove power. Remove the lint screen and the screws recessed within. Un clip the top and lift up. Support it so it is safe. Use the tech. sheet supplied to place the unit in a diagnostic mode. At this point w/ no fault codes given it is hard to determine if it is a bad user interface board or a control board issue. Double check the wire connections in and out of the interface board and the control board part # WPW10111616. Let us know of the fault code and we can assist @ correct part #'s. It seems as if you are unable to set time or temperature then it is more of a user interface electronic control part # WP8563974. Thank You. --
