Electronic water inlet valve that controls the appliance's water flow during fill cycles, restoring proper filling and helping prevent overfills, persistent fill errors, or water leaks when the original valve fails. What it does:

  • Opens and closes to route water into the appliance when signaled by the control board.
  • Responds to electronic fill commands; a failed valve can cause no-fill, continuous fill, or error-code symptoms.
  • Can allow water leaks if seals or valve body fail.
  • Works as the unit that meters fill volume for cycles that require water.
What's included: One electronic water inlet valve. Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before starting any repair.
  • Inspect inlet hoses and seals when installing; replace damaged hoses or gaskets to prevent leaks.
  • Test the appliance through a short fill cycle after installation and check for leaks.
