Dennis December 13, 2021 for Model Number MDBH949PAW1 Unit has air vent part #WPW10329609. How does one tell if the part is defective. Dishwasher not drying well and have checked thermostat and element. Lots of info on replacing the air vent but can find nothing to tell me how to determine if defective. Thanks
1 Answer Dennis, the vent WPW10329609 can be inspected for cracks or clogs. However, it would be recommended that the rinse aid be checked to ensure that it is dispensing properly. The rinse aid assists the dishwasher in drying the dishes and lack of rinse aid can cause water to stay on the dishes.
