Nicole March 25, 2020 for Model Number MTW6600TQ1 Changed out my bearings, did not get the kit that came with the new shaft though. When reassembling get to the agitator bolt and it won't catch when I try screwing it back in. I pulled the wash plate off and still can't get it to go in.
1 Answer Nicole, it is recommended that the wash plate W11252784 and driveshaft W10435302 are inspected for any burs or damaged teeth. If there is any damage, the part damaged would need to be replaced. If there is not any damage, the driveshaft did not seat properly and would need to be adjusted as this would be the only other possibility for the wash plate to not sit fully. Read More...
