This is a genuine replacement belt designed to work with multiple types of snowblowers. It is sometimes called a wheel drive belt or a V-belt. The belt is installed on pulleys that allow the transfer of motive power from the engine to the wheels and the auger, allowing the snowblower to move forward, as well as break up and throw snow. These belts are made from high-quality rubber, but they will suffer from wear and tear over time. Through normal use, exposure to extreme temperatures, and over time, the rubber can crack, and eventually, the belt will break.
