The Whirlpool armature is an OEM replacement part responsible for facilitating the motor's rotation and transferring power to the mixer's various attachments. The armature consists of a core and windings, which interact with the motor's stator to create a rotating magnetic field. As electricity flows through the windings, it generates a magnetic field that causes the rotor to turn, driving the mixer's beaters, whisk, or other attachments.
The mixer armature can fail due to wear and tear from regular use, overheating, or electrical issues. Prolonged operation, overloading the mixer, or power surges can also contribute to armature damage.
