This authentic OEM replacement carburetor kit is designed to be used in a variety of small gas-powered lawn appliances. This kit includes a carburetor, gasket, and choke assembly. The carburetor is an essential part of an engine that is responsible for mixing fuel and air before passing the mixture on for combustion. This is a delicate balance that can cause the engine to perform poorly if the carburetor is damaged or faulty. Carburetors most commonly wear out overtime because of built-up engine sludge. After extended periods, the carburetor will begin to build a coating of exhaust and combustion products that prevent it from working as effectively. When this happens, the engine may begin to shake, idle, misfire, hard start, backfire or even put off black smoke. You will need a screwdriver and set of socket wrenches for this repair.
