This base assembly is the cabinet-level support that secures the washer's internal components and helps stabilize the machine during operation. Replacing a damaged base restores proper support and reduces excessive movement. What it does:

  • Provides the structural mounting for the tub, motor and suspension components to keep parts aligned
  • Helps control vibration and movement during spin cycles
  • Maintains proper clearance and routing for hoses and wiring at the cabinet bottom
  • Can prevent rubbing, scraping or misalignment-related noise caused by a cracked or warped base
