Nathan F San Angelo , TX September 21, 2015 Appliance: Samsung Dishwasher DW80F600UTS/AA-0000 Samsung dw80f600uts smart auto and normal lights blinking This error code is for a high temperature heating error. Unplug the dishwasher or flip the circuit breaker that powers the dishwasher. Remove the dishwasher from under the counter. And remove the metal panel that is on the right side if you are looking at it from the front. It is 2 Phillips head screws. Using a flashlight, look at the very bottom of the pump housing and you will see the thermistor that you will need to replace. Unplug the connector from the thermistor then turn the thermistor 1/4 turn to the left and remove it. Installation is reverse from removal. Be sure to buy the replacement o-ring to use on the new thermistor. Any water that was released from the sump while the thermistor was removed will need to be cleared from the drain pain or you will get a leak error signified by the Heavy light flashing and the continuous running of the pump motor. Ryan A Bozeman , MT April 06, 2015 Appliance: Samsung Dishwasher DW80F600UTS/AA-0000 High temperature heating error Had the first two lights blinking (Smart Auto and Normal buttons) which according to the owner's manual indicates high temperature heating error. I fixed this by replacing the ECS sensor. However it may have been as easy as cleaning the existing ECS already in the dishwasher. When I pulled the old one out, it had "gunk" on it. I didn't think about cleaning it and trying it until after the fact, but might be worth a shot if you are getting that error. Also, I had a Sears repairman come out first and he told me I needed a whole new control board. That was not the problem at all. Also was told I likely need a new "brake". But I didn't replace that. Installation was pretty simple. Turned dishwasher on its back to get to the bottom. Two screws to take off the cover. Then it's a matter of finding the existing sensor, disconnecting it, then twisting it out. No screws to mess with there. A very easy fix. Wish I would have found this site before I paid the repairman to give me the wrong diagnosis.
