Samsung DA97-08679G Assy Cover Disp OEM Part

After talking with Samsung and getting the part # I was able to find it quickly and for less money here. Installation is pretty simple. Unplug the unit first. Use painters tape on fridge to prevent scratches. Remove the one Phillips screw from the under side. I used a painters tool to pry out the panel. I you flip the new one over you can see where the prongs are. Pop the water spout out of the clip and slide panel out. Disconnect the electrical connection ( it has a push lock fitting on it). Installed new panel and plugged refrigerator in. Turn off demo mode and set temps. Works like new again!

I found a YouTube video and followed the steps. It took me less than 15 minutes to complete the change out of the assembly. I removed one screw, carefully pulled out the assembly, then disconnected one cable (reversed the process for the new assembly). I then snapped into place the water spout through the ice dispenser opening and tested the water and ice. Both worked like new without issues and I am very happy I did this repair myself. Another issue I found during the repair is the old dispenser assembly had mold up inside, so I was happy to fix this issue as well.

Just replaced The parts DA97-08679G! It take about 5 minutes! Real easy changed!
