She went through diagnostic steps and then finally recommended changing the filter housing. Parts arrived in 3 days and I put it in the refrigerator last night. No more issues. Thanks.

Ordered the part, two screws, two nuts, install new part. It was a snap and took about 5 minutes and saved me 150 off of a service trip for diagnostics (different issue). Should have done it years ago.

Part that came was not exact match (no hooks on back) but worked fine. The blue water line was shorter than original and just barely reached. The job was quite easy. The only part that required a little research was understanding how the fittings on the ends of the water lines were removed and re-attached. Mine were simple compression fittings that just pulled off and pressed on (slid onto nipple attachment points). No cutting required. There are a few other types out there though. While I had the lower back panel off of the fridge (to attach blue line) I vacuumed the coils. They had ten years (my bad) worth of dust on them.

Just replaced the old one which was cracked.

I replaced the water filler housing.
