Robert S Houston , TX April 01, 2014 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG DMT300RFW Drain hose needed to be replaced Removed dishwasher, laid two large towels on tile floor, laid dishwasher front door down on tiles, removed white access door (two screws) on bottom to expose hose connection. Then on left side facing front of dishwasher I had to remove door return spring from frame, two more screws and a metal cover. Once this cover was removed it exposed a plastic clamp that I opened up, took the drain hose off the hook at the top of the tub. I then removed the one end of the hose that was attached to the sump with a metal clamp (channel locks work well for this step) and removed the attached end from the washer. There was a plastic clamp that holds the hose in the rear of the dishwasher that very easily snaps off. At that point the hose was completely removed. Install is the reverse, but watch that plastic clamp that holds both loops of the drain hose, it is a burger to get clamped back together. Raymond A Cumberland , RI September 21, 2015 Appliance: Model SAMSUNGDMT300RFB Leaking drain hose Replaced with new hose. Had to remove dishwasher from under counter and reinstall which took majority of repair time. Have a Samsung dmt300rfb, so while I had it out I disassembled and cleaned the float sensor because after awhile it gets weighted down with a sludge and you find you are getting error codes because it gets too heavy to float up enough to trip the micro switch. You can tell you have the problem when it takes two or more times to get the washer to run if at all. There is a YouTube video available that walks you through it. Not a difficult job. Read More... Matthew J Houston , TX December 18, 2016 Appliance: Samsung Dishwasher DMT300RFS/XAA Oem drain hose leaking I ordered a drain hose replacement specifically for this Samsung dishwasher. It is about 12 feet long, so you can't go to the local hardware store and find a suitable replacement. It was fairly easy to install, but it is slightly different in construction from the original. The corrugations are different style, and the outer diameter is 0.040 larger than the original. This made it a challenge to use the original clamping brackets on the washer, so I used a zip tie instead. Read More...
