Ronald B Batesville , AR January 18, 2020 Lower electric igniter in gas range wore out. Ordered both upper and lower igniters from Appliance Parts Pros since both had seen extensive use. Replacing igniters involved removing three upper and lower oven panels and back stove panel, removing the burners, replacing the old igniters, testing them, then reassembling the oven components. Process was somewhat time consuming but not difficult. Took my time, worked carefully, and learned a few things about my stove in the process. Craig H Corpus Christi , TX April 17, 2022 Appliance: Samsung Gas Range NX58M6630SS/AA-00 The oven is taking too long to heat up to temp. Easy fix to replace the igniter. There are two igniters, one for the bake (lower), and the other for the broiler (upper). Ensure you order the right one for your problem. Plenty of youtube videos for a visual on how it's done. Open the door and remove the bottom oven pan (2 screws), then remove the heat shield (2 screws). Remove the bottom storage drawer and unplug the igniter from under the stove (it's a long reach, but it can be done), then remove the burner (2 screws) and finally remove the igniter (2 screws) off the burner. Put back together in reverse order. Done. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
