James S Batavia , IL July 31, 2020 Appliance: Model RF28HFEDBSR/AA REV 09 Evap fan not working but fan was not damaged After checking the fan with 12 volts from a battery and found it was working, I tested the temp sensor. It seemed to have the resistance that was required but since it was cheap I ordered a replacement anyway. The Tech I spoke with online told me which board controlled the voltage to the fan so I ordered it. Replaced main board and temp sensor in a few minutes and the unit was up and running again.
