Keith F New Port Richey , FL June 23, 2019 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG RF260BEAEWW/AA Upper evap fan open circuit froze fan solid in ice Pulled evaporator cover to find full of ice fan encased in ice. Checked the control board, smelled burnt. Didn't want to chance to go in again on a $2,000 dollar refrigerator so I ordered fan and control board. Never worked on a refrigerator before but good with electronics. So the online diagrams lead me to the failed parts fast. Received the parts the next day at 2:00 pm.
