Thomas S Tampa , FL June 05, 2023 Appliance: Samsung Range Electric NE59J7850WS/AA No convection heat in top oven. The spade connector on the board overheated and burned wire and the spade connector on the board. Replaced oven control board and wiring harness. It took a bit to find the right replacement parts, but both the Main PCB and wire harness were perfect matches! Many of the spade connectors have locks that require a small flat screwdriver to be inserted from the wire end to release the latch, then pull the connector and screwdriver together. Once I figured that out the rest were easy. I may have been able to replace just the single spade connector that was burnt but didn't know how far back I would need to cut the wire back to get to undamaged wire, and it was a shortish lead. Plus, the burnt connector was a dual spade connector. Not sure if the original connector was loose which caused the overheating, but new board and harness and it's like factory new. Read More... Hector C Midlothian , TX October 03, 2022 Appliance: Samsung Range Electric NE59J7850WS/AA No baking or broiling function. There was no error code that came up. I followed the troubleshooting procedures in the handout (in an envelope taped to the back of the oven). It included wiring diagrams and troubleshooting info. For example, all of the sensors and convection motors with resistance readings. Mine were all within range of the listings. After viewing several YouTube videos I determined the (flex) control board was out. I located it here after consulting with an AppliancePartsPros advisor. So, I ordered an upper oven sensor since it was barely within borderline specs of the resistance range. Also, I ordered the control board since that seemed to be the only thing left that really can't be analyzed with any kind of test. I installed the sensor first and started the oven. It did not come on correctly. The oven would cycle on and off. Confirming this by listening for the relay on the control board to click on & off. Also, by using a voltmeter across the oven heater leads. I saw the 240 volts come on when the relay kicked in but then it would go right back off continuously. The oven was barely heating up. I then replaced the control board. Success. The oven and broiler both worked and heated up fast. Thanks, AppliancePartsPros.com. I did find the board at another website but that one was twice as much. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers
