Angela P Katy , TX February 08, 2017 Appliance: Model DV5451AEW/XAA 03 My dryer was shutting off everytime it got to a time ending in 7 ex 47min 27min I called Appliance Parts Pros and explained my problem and the things I had done to determine the consistency of the problem. The support person that I spoke with was very helpful and asked me some clarifying questions to make sure my problem was exactly what I thought it was. While on the phone I ordered the part and it arrive in just a couple of days. To replace the part sent to me I did the following: 1) unplugged the dryer 2) unscrewed the 2 screws on the back of the panel connecting it to the dryer body (philips head) 3) disconnected the two electrical connectors 4) unscrewed the screws holding both components down (both must be removed to get to the one that needed to be removed) 5) put the new part in place 6) screwed in the screws back in for both components 7) connected the two electrical connectors 8) screwed the 2 screws to connect the panel to the dryer body 9) plugged the dryer back in 10) Dried cloths It took less than 10 minutes and it only required a medium size philips head screwdriver.
