Jared B Suwanee , GA May 21, 2016 Lower left hinge was bent back towards me throwing off the seal of freezer door Removed old hinge and broken cam. Installed new hinge and cam. Didn't have oil handy used a drop or two of vegetable oil. Fairly easy to do, might want to have help of one other person to balance door and ensure water line is fed through hole properly. Crystal D Bellevue , NE May 28, 2018 Appliance: Samsung Refrigerator RS2578BB/XAA The refrigerator door no longer opened or closed smoothly (the door cam riser broke) I followed the instructions exactly as shown on your repair video: 1. Cleaned out the refrigerator and put perishable foods into an ice cool. 2. Turned off the water to the refrigerator and unplugged it. 3. Unscrewed the plate on top of refrigerator door and disconnected the wires. 4. Removed the door. 5. Replaced the Door Cam Riser and Hinge Cam Riser. 6. Put the door back on. 7. Tested door several times. 8. Reconnected the wires / plate on top of door. 9. Turned water back on and plugged in refrigerator. Read More...
