After a quick replacement order of the max fill cap, the soap dispenser is no longer holding any excess water after washes. Kenneth W Novi , MI April 06, 2016 Samsung washer detergent cup full of water Purchased a new Liquid Soap tray and Max Fill Cap. The Max fill cap is supposed to snap into the soap tray and ours no longer did so it floated in the water preventing the siphon action from emptying the cup. The new Liquid Soap tray also has a small hole (1/16") in it to let the excess water slowly drain out. The water remaining in the tray really isn't a problem unless you spill the water when emptying it. You just need to empty it to be able to add detergent. Tom P Beaverton , OR January 15, 2020 Appliance: Samsung Washer WF419AAW/XAA-01 One of the nipples cracked and broke off the dispenser drawer housing (dc97-14493a) the p/n was discontinued and could only get entire kit with valves for $200 I ordered a slightly different p/n (DC97-14493B) and being I'm a fairly capable DIYer, I made a minor modification to make the part I needed (DC97-14493A). The opening for the Assembly Guide Water, Silver Care Kit was blocked. I carefully drilled small holes in the four corners of the opening and using a very sharp knife, I cut out the plastic blocking the opening. Note: the schematic molded in the top of the plastic housing was incorrect for my model, so mark your water lines first or use the schematic off the old housing. Read More...
