Willa Dean C Madill , OK January 27, 2019 Appliance: Model DA63-06945A Replaced the gasket cap chute ice on my Samsung 3 door refrigerator because when I purchased the refrigerator the rubber gasket was all crumbled up and did not seal properly I had ordered only the rubber gasket cap, not the whole gasket assembly. I first pulled the crumbled up rubber gasket off and was frustrated that I could not get the new rubber gasket to fit over the plastic gasket cap (which was still attached to the chute). After a chat with a service person, I realized that the entire gasket assembly part (plastic and rubber) could be lifted out to unsnap for replacement. I used a very thin blade screwdriver to slide under and remove the plastic gasket, attached the new rubber gasket-cap to the plastic gasket and snapped the whole assembly back into the ice chute.
