I had ordered only the rubber gasket cap, not the whole gasket assembly. I first pulled the crumbled up rubber gasket off and was frustrated that I could not get the new rubber gasket to fit over the plastic gasket cap (which was still attached to the chute). After a chat with a service person, I realized that the entire gasket assembly part (plastic and rubber) could be lifted out to unsnap for replacement. I used a very thin blade screwdriver to slide under and remove the plastic gasket, attached the new rubber gasket-cap to the plastic gasket and snapped the whole assembly back into the ice chute. It appears to be sealed properly and it certainly looks better.
