Harold H Kimberling City , MO January 29, 2019 Appliance: Model WF431ABP/XAA-001 Samsung washer wf431abp/xaa 001 had vibration issues Appliance Parts Pro had a great video showing what the most likely problem was and how to fix it. Using the video, I disassembled the washer and removed the suspect part (Spider Arm), which I found to be cracked. I order the needed parts on a Thursday afternoon and had the parts in hand on Saturday afternoon. Reassembly was straightforward and the washer now works like new. The most difficult part is the manhandling of the drum out and back into the washer. It is heavy and awkward for one person. All told, I probably spent about 6-hours on the project. There are a lot of steps involved. Quick service and a great video made it possible for me to do the repair. Michael M Alplaus , NY January 26, 2019 Appliance: Samsung Washer WF330ANW/XAA WF330 broken spider Broken spider on Samsung WF330 after 8.5 years - faithful operation up to that point, so repair attempted. Spider, bolts, and support spring bushings (which can be unsnapped to make spring removal and thus tub removal super easy) ordered along with tub seal, bearings, and shaft seal from Amazon.com. Spider coated with Rustoleum appliance 'epoxy enamel' and washer re-assembled. Most difficult/time consuming aspects were orientation of tub to get in and out, cleaning of spider remnants/corrosion/gunk from SS basket, tub, tubing, and door seal, and waiting for paint to dry (24-48 hours). Washer ran two loads last night w/o difficulty. Total repair to date less than $175 on a $700-$800 appliance; new replacement would be similar or greater expense ...
