James M Aiken , SC November 12, 2018 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG MOD. RS2556SH Yes The ice tray would not operate properly because the ice maker support was broken. I found the support I needed on Appliance Parts Pros site, then I watched their video on how to remove the support / ice tray from the fridge. Following the video I replaced the support and ice tray then put the assembly back into the fridge and "wallah" started making ice. Thanks to Appliance Parts, I successfully completed the repair and saved a bundle of money. All made possible by their concise video. Removed the old ice maker to troubleshoot the problem and found that the pegs that held the ice maker in place were broken off both the ice maker and the frame.
