Marty M Big Bear City , CA December 22, 2015 Appliance: Samsung Washer WA456DRHDWR/AA-0000 Pump bracket broke After ordering two pump kits and thinking I had still had the wrong pump I read how other customers fixed the problem. Forget about the pump going back in the same location. It mounts to the bottom of the frame not to the bottom of the tub as it came from the manufacturer. In my case there were mounting holes already there to accept the new pump bracket. The new hoses will reach the bottom of the tub and outlet. Fast and easy repair once I sorted through the changes. I hope other Samsung owners read this first, it will help you avoid a lot of frustration and dirty clothes stacking up. I did replace some of the clamps with traditional hose clamps to better secure the hoses. Ken L Ashland , VA April 23, 2016 Broken drain pump bracket Ordered a packing pump Service assembly and figured out where and how it was supposed to assembled, since there were no instructions included with the part. I think this should have been fixed by the factory since this problem appears to happen quite often, hence the relocation of the drain pump to the washer frame. Poor design on Samsung's part.
