Samsung DA61-06033B Refrigerator Ice Dispenser Lever Spring OEM Part

Ordered replacement & used on line videos for guidance

Reviewed several on-line videos. Dispenser on our refrigerator is relatively simple fix. Trick is pulling the assembly out of the door so you can get at it. Videos very helpful. Difficulty in getting spring in correctly. Finally taped it in place on lever with small piece of scotch tape so it stayed in place while maneuvering lever into place. Lever snaps in place. Simply reassemble dispenser back into door. Everything works.

Ordered all parts from u and looked at another unit to see how it was together. Spring was the tricky part.

First let me start by saying Appliance Parts Pros are the best because they speak English and are in the United States of America. I ordered the same parts from another company however after 10 days the company stated the parts are still in route from overseas. I made contact with Appliance Parts Pros and Sheila P. was a delightful American who understood my situation and we ordered the parts over the phone. Lo and behold the parts arrived within several days and I was able to find a how to video on You Tube which helped me install the parts successfully. The new part arrived, I figured out the old part would slide up to be removed, had to give it a nudge but it was easily removed. Popped in the new butter keeper, removed the tape holding the flip-up door closed, pushed it down hard one extra time to make sure the lid would open and shut easily. FIXED. And I'm a 74 yo female. Easy fix.
