John D Merrick , NY December 09, 2014 The oven door interior glass was broken I called AppliancePartsPros.com and spoke with Suzanne. She was very patient and very professional. She figured out what the correct part number was and gave me all the details about ease of repair, warranty and much more. She even sent me a video and several still photos to assist me in the repair. I received the part in just a few days and was able to install out with ease just as Suzanne said. From the time I called to complete repair was only about 4 days. It was a great experience and I have already recommended them and will definately use them again. One of the best online purchase experiences that I've ever had. Very impressed!! Mark L Seattle , WA March 15, 2016 Appliance: Model DACOR CPS130 Inside glass was broken on dacor cps130 oven door Using a Philips-head screwdriver, I removed the outer components of the oven door until I could access the inner glass. I then unscrewed the 4 screws holding the inner glass in place, took it out, and put in the new piece. The hardest part of the job was getting everything (the glass, insulation, and metal plates) to line up properly to screw things back in place. This required the help of an extra set of hands. But this is a pretty intuitively easy repair, and the job went quickly. I also have to commend AppliancePartPros, after ordering the glass it arrived incredibly fast (within 2 days) and fit perfectly. Gloria O Tallahassee , FL March 21, 2016 Appliance: Model DACOR CPS-130 SINGLE WALL OVEN My oven door glass cracked on the inside the gasket was dirty so decided to repair/replace at the same time I decided to ask my husband to repair this ourselves after reading the reviews that all read the task was easy peezy 15-30 minutes. It's easy now that he knows how to do it. There was no instruction sheet (as promised) in the glass box. The video on the site for the gasket repair was nothing like our oven. Our gasket is on the door. The video replaces a gasket on the oven side. The phone rep we phoned tried very much to assist us but had no Dacor available data to offer us. It's more tedious than difficult, as a first timer. The gasket has wire in it to help form it around the edge it belongs, but it kept poking out of the cloth cover. Dacor would have been wise to place a clamp/hook or two to hold it in place as you wrap it around the corners to form a rectangle before fastening. The end result for entire project is a perfect. The price was good, shipping was immediate and customer service is top notch. The Dacor lack of info offered should not be a reflection on the assistance by this company. I'd buy with confidence again from Appliance Parts Pros anytime the need arises. Eric M Wheaton , IL December 30, 2014 Broken glass window and baking element not working on dacor oven Replaced glass window. Very easy to fix following web instructions. Checked resistance of baking element and found it within range. Web search suggested relay board was the problem. Since ApplicancePartsPros was willing to ship the part AND take it back for a return in the event the board was not the problem, I figured I had nothing to lose. The new board and glass window arrived the day after they were ordered (and this with standard shipping!). The old board required some effort to access and remove, but once the new board was installed the oven worked like new again. I figured I saved about $200 on a repair visit!! I could not be happier with my experience!!!! Read More... 2 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers
Jane F Las Vegas , NV January 02, 2017 Appliance: Model DACOR WALL OVEN Broken glass on inside of a decor wall oven I used the "chat with a pro" link on the Appliancepartspro website, and the lady sent me a link to the correct part I needed, as I couldn't find it myself. The part arrived in 2 days, which was really amazing I thought. It looked like the wrong part to me, so I telephoned the company, and the lady assured me it was the right part, but explained that I had to remove the door and take it apart to be able to replace the glass, She was even kind enough to send me the diagram of the door parts. I did exactly as she said. It was a simple job and the door now looks great. What a great experience with this company. Thank you so much for your help.
