Paul K Dayton , TX November 04, 2017 Ran for 5 to 7 seconds and stopped. I researched the issue on You tube and found out it could be either the "belt broke switch" or the Moisture sensor. A friend who was an appliance mechanic advised "since you have to take it all apart anyways, its best to replace the belt, spring, and Idler wheel" I bought the 5 item for $52. I watched the video on the AppliancePartsPros for changing out the belt and I replace all items on the list. Took 1 1/2 hrs and was fixed on restart!! * Wear gloves, the sheet metal is very sharp edges!* Read More... 47 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours Tools: Screwdrivers

Louis D Medford , NJ May 03, 2020 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG GAS DRYER DV520AGP/XAA Samsung dryer #dv520agp/xaa would turn on and set but would not turn Dryer would turn on and I would hear a slight click but dryer would not turn. Looked at YouTube and it mentioned some problems it could be. Somehow, I got AppliancePartsPros web site and read other people comments and looked at videos. I opened the back exhaust area and determined that the belt was not broken. From all the info I got, I narrowed it down to 3 parts, Dryer Thermistor, #AP4201716, Thermal fuse# AP4201894 and Broken belt switch# AP4044838. I could not test the old parts, so I ordered all 3 to be safe. In 45 minutes, (after looking at their videos on the web site again) I installed them. I also took the opportunity to clean out the lint exhaust line. Dryer started up and is working better than before. Anthony P Toms River , NJ January 16, 2021 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG DRYER Dryer stopped working. I ordered a tensioner wheel cutoff switch since the original part was settling at 0.0 ohms despite having stopped at 0.1 for a few seconds. This was replaced as a precaution. The thermal sensor is what needed replacing since it did not have any resistance through the voltmeter. Most suppliers showed that I would receive the part 3 - 4 weeks from the time I placed the order. Appliance Parts Pros had the part at my door in 3 days! Fixed the dryer that same day the parts came in. Thanks for the great service!
