Michael N Monroe , NC February 07, 2016 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG SIDE BY SIDE RS261MDRS Water valve 2 way went bad The repair job took me less than 15 minutes. I removed the lower back panel from the back of the fridge then disconnected the power to the fridge and turned off the water supply to the fridge. I then looked closely at how the water valve 2-way was installed and removed it. Then I connected the water supply lines for the water and ice then connected the water valve line and I was done. It was that simple. Saved an appliance service call of about $100. and did the job myself.
