High Pressure Switch (Pressure-Sensing Safety Switch)

This high pressure switch monitors system pressure and helps protect the compressor and refrigeration system from unsafe high-pressure conditions. Replaces a failed or intermittent pressure-sensing switch to restore proper pressure monitoring and safety control. What it does:

  • Senses elevated system pressure and signals the control to shut down or prevent compressor operation when pressure is too high
  • Helps prevent compressor damage and system overpressure events
  • Can stop or prevent cooling interruptions caused by a stuck or failed pressure switch
  • Common symptom: unit runs but cooling is inconsistent or compressor cycles off on pressure-related faults
