Dishwasher not draining correctly John W. • Ashburn , VA • January 15, 2016
I watched a suggested video about my model and was able to easily take apart the filter unit and access the drainage area. I found a worn out "Float" Valve. In the process of replacing the float valve I went ahead and replaced a gasket and the Valve, Check. Repairs went great.
Parts were a perfect fit. This is the second time I used AplliancePartsPros.

Genuine Ge part

Part Number: WD21X479
This float switch detects rising water in the refrigerator drain pan or lower cabinet area and signals the appliance control to help prevent overflow and water damage. Use it to replace a failed or intermittent water-level sensor. What it does:
- Senses high water level in the drain pan or collection area and closes the circuit to alert the control.
- Helps identify causes of leaks and pooling under or behind the appliance.
- Commonly used when symptoms include water on the floor, drip pan overflow, or water-related error/alert conditions.
- Matches OEM function for refrigeration units that include a float-based water-detection circuit.
What's included: One float switch. Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before starting any repairs; shut off the water supply if working near water lines.
- Access may require removing lower kick plate or back panel; handle plastic clips and fasteners carefully.
- Disconnect electrical connector gently and note orientation before installing the replacement; secure wiring and verify float moves freely.
- Restore power and run a short test cycle or simulate water level to ensure proper operation.

Drain valve indicator on Stephen S. • Anniston , AL • July 27, 2014
Replaced the drain valve. duh. here's the kicker...original problem was circulation pump was broken. Paid $350 to have it "professionally" fixed, and when we turned it on, it wouldn't run, so "professional tech" said "it must be the control panel". So I say maybe, send him away, checked the indicator panel and sure enuf, drain valve light. So I ordered it here, replaced the valve, and it ran really funky with weird noises, Then water starts leaking under dw. So I figured I did something...

After reviewing a few blogs it was clear that Frigidaire is knows there is a problem. One of the blogs recommended AppliancePartsPros.com for a new pressure sensor switch and a water inlet valve. Ordered the part and it was shipped that day, as promised. Pulled the dishwasher out (which was the hardest part of the repair). The pressure sensor switch is a changed out with a small flat blade screw driver to release two snap clips. The inlet valve is changed out with three screws and on hose...

Dishwasher would not clean dishes soap compartment would open but soap still in compartment Rodney K. • Honolulu , HI • October 02, 2014
The indications made me think the dishwasher was not shooting water. I checked the water valve with a voltmeter and it was getting power to open. I disconnected the line to make sure the water line was not plugged. Then I bypassed the door switch and ran the dishwasher with the door open and did not see the water filling which pointed to the inlet valve. I ordered the valve which came quickly. Replaced the valve and now the dishes are clean!

Dishwasher needed a refresh Darron T. • Sherman , NY • April 17, 2017
I ordered new racks, volute and check ball, and new spray arms. Replacing the volute and check ball were the hardest things to do and they were fairly easy to change. The toughest part for me was finding my T15 torxdriver. After replacing these parts the washer operates much better with much higher pressure than what we were experiencing recently.
