This is a small encoder wheel that attaches to the control knob shaft on the dryer. Replace this wheel if the control knob spins freely without changing settings, clicks inconsistently, or if the dryer no longer responds to knob adjustments.
This small adapter wheel connects to the dryer's encoder mechanism, which helps the control board track drum position and cycle progress. It links the encoder to the drive system, translating mechanical rotation into signals the electronic control can read. Replace this part if your dryer displays error codes related to cycle sensing, fails to advance through cycles properly, or the control board cannot detect drum movement.
