Part Number: WR55X11072C
This electronic control board manages your refrigerator's key systems—compressor, fans, and defrost. When the original board fails, you may see warm temperatures or erratic behavior; replacing it restores stable cooling and proper defrosting.
- Regulates compressor and fan operation to maintain set temperatures
- Controls adaptive defrost timing and energizes the defrost heater
- Distributes power to critical loads and processes sensor inputs
- Helps with: no cooling or intermittent cooling, compressor/fans not running, heavy frost from no defrost, or unresponsive/erratic controls
What's included: 1 main control board Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing; risk of electric shock
- Use ESD protection; handle the board by the edges only
- Photograph and label connectors; transfer wires exactly and fully seat each plug
- After installation, restore power and follow any model-specific service sheet/configuration steps provided with the appliance

Front door would no longer dispense cold water Marc B. • Port Orange , FL • February 18, 2018
After some simple troubleshooting, determined that it was likely the (rear) main control board. Once the new board arrived, it was installed in 5-10 minutes once the refrigerator was pulled out from the wall and the area cleaned up a bit. My only negative feedback was that delivery was too slow by today's standards. Fedex Post was used and in my experience it usually adds an extra 2-days compared to other ground shipping methods. The part was ordered on Sunday night. It shipped out of...

After some power surges in our area my refrigerator stopped working called out a repair guy and he replaced the board but said the touch pad was out and he could not get that part you guys had it Tracy D. • Lancaster , TX • June 11, 2015
Replaced touch pad. Did run into a little problem. the new pad flashed up a code PED000 apparently the pad had to be programmed using the code from the serial number plate. Whirlpool service was zero help said code didn't exist. Found instructions how to do it on line. Found it on Google by asking what does this code mean. Anyway after following the instructions on reprogramming all is working great now. Thank you Appliance parts Pros.com

LG french door with indoor ice and water dispenseor code IR on display and stopped defrosting. Darryl B. • Justin , TX • July 01, 2017
Replaced ice maker fan - Did not fix the IR code. Replaced defrost sensor, Main Pcb assembly and capacitor because I would be in that area changing the Pcb. Everything works like new. The Main Pcb most likely fixed all problems but the defrost sensor and capacitor were cheap and I didn't want to take anything to chance. So far all is working again - $150 for repair parts vs $2500 for new refrigerator. ??
The Pcb and capacitor took 15 min to replace, easy access on back of refrigerator. The...

Replaced the main circuit board, evaporator fan motor, and power supply.
Probably did not need to change the power supply but did so just to be safe.

Refrigerator was not cooling in my kenmore (lg ) bottom freezer frig all appliance stated no circuitboards available Jeffrey R. • Statesville , NC • March 14, 2015
I replaced the evaporator fan motor, defrost thermostat & circuit board. I replaced the fan motor since it did not operate. While i was in there making the repair i read online it was beneficial to replace the defrost thermostat. Before i ordered i checked to see if fan motor was getting power and it was not so i deducted that the circuit board was not supplying power. I took a chance and ordered a new board since it was available from appliance pro and I'm glad i did. Refrigerator works great....
